Objective: Support a leading HR provider in exploring metaverse opportunities to improve talent recruitment and enhance employee engagement through innovative virtual experiences.
Approach:
Desk Research: Delivered a comprehensive report on the metaverse, including case studies and competitor analysis, to prepare key stakeholders for the idea generation workshop.
Stakeholder Interviews: Conducted six 60-minute interviews with key stakeholders across various roles within the company (strategy, delivery, sales) to gather strategic insights and align on the workshop’s goals. The interviews explored a range of topics, including the approach to the metaverse, current needs, goals, and potential opportunities for leveraging the metaverse. Data from these interviews were analyzed and clustered into key themes such as approach, target audience, experience, opportunities, and potential challenges.
Idea Generation and Definition Workshop: Designed and facilitated a two-day workshop with eight international key stakeholders to explore various metaverse concepts, including the use of gamification to create an unbiased pre-selection process for talent recruitment. The insights from the interviews helped guide the discussions, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic vision and specific needs.
Outcome: Delivered a strategic roadmap and refined concept for leveraging the metaverse in recruitment, focusing on areas such as candidate engagement and employee interaction. Key findings from the interviews, including critical opportunities and challenges, were incorporated into the final roadmap, positioning the client for future evolution and innovation in talent acquisition.
